Upcoming courses and workshops

Better Sleep

In-person course - two sessions

The approach of this course is not to cure insomnia, rather it is about self-management techniques to help you to tackle your sleep problems, increase your satisfaction with sleep, and deal effectively with sleep difficulties when they occur.

Building Resilience

In-person course - two sessions

In this course we discover how we might approach a difficult situation, what behaviours or actions might hold us back, and what approaches move us forward.

Introduction to Low Mood

Online workshop - one session

This workshop looks at the impact low mood and depression can have on us, and the ways we can try to alleviate these symptoms with strategies and tools to help maintain wellbeing and find fulfilment.

Managing Anxiety

Online workshop – one session (October)
Online course - two sessions (from November)

Anxiety is a normal part of life; it affects us all to varying degrees. In this workshop/course we explore what anxiety is, looking at our autonomic nervous system and the impact anxiety has on our body and wellbeing. We identify and practise a few simple techniques to help reduce the symptoms of anxiety.

Managing Intense Emotions

Online course – four sessions

This course helps you understand and manage emotional intensity by exploring your individual experiences. You’ll learn practical tools for recognising, regulating, and soothing emotions, along with distress tolerance skills.

Mindfulness

In-person course – four sessions

This course helps to focus our attention, improve our self-awareness and let go of unnecessary anxieties, thought processes and distractions that keep us from living in the now. It incorporates elements of mindfulness and meditation practice.
