Welcome to Bristol Wellbeing College
Bristol Wellbeing College delivers workshops, courses and activities to improve mental health and wellbeing. Anyone who has used Bristol Mental Health services can attend, and their carers. We also welcome patients of Inner City and East GP surgeries.

We have a colour-coded system so you can see which workshops and courses are most appropriate for your recovery journey. If you’re unsure, we recommend you start with green workshops.
Lighter workshops offering an introduction into various ways to improve wellbeing. They are accessible to anyone, encouraging self-expression and self-care.
More detailed workshops that focus on making positive changes to habits, behaviours and lifestyle. Where a series, we recommend learners attend all sessions.
In-depth courses encouraging self-reflection, long-term planning and progression. Courses require commitment to attend all dates and a willingness to complete homework.

|Online Anxiety Series 2/4: Calming the Body|
Our anxiety series has been created to explore different aspect of anxiety, identifying levels of anxiety, our response to it, the tools we use and how we gain a sense of empowerment and calm. We will identify different strategies to try out in the session to help develop our internal resources to better manage our anxiety.
In this session we continue to explore the parasympathetic system and look at different strategies for creating a sense of calm for the body.

Green Workshops: Lighter sessions offering an introduction into various ways to improve wellbeing. They are accessible to anyone, encouraging self-expression and self-care. Sessions involve techniques, activities, and ways to connect with our senses, to develop a wellbeing toolkit.
Blue Workshops: More detailed sessions that focus on making positive changes to habits, behaviours and lifestyle. The workshops support you to maintain positive change or take steps towards making a change. These more structured sessions aim to provide you with helpful tools and strategies. Where a series, we recommend learners attend all sessions.
Pink Courses: In-depth, multiple sessions encouraging self-reflection, long-term planning and progression. The sessions provide an opportunity to share experiences and support each other. Courses require commitment to attend all sessions and a willingness to complete homework.

One of our learners, Ruth, has written a very helpful resource, writing for wellbeing. It contains simple writing exercises that may help you process your thoughts and feelings.
Our learners are also welcome to join our community Facebook group.
Some learners are attending our creative writing course, Poem Brut. We are exhibiting their art, Poetry Without Words, online.
You can find pre-recorded YouTube sessions on a range of topics such as boost your mood and writing for wellbeing. You can also read blogs from our learners and tutors.
