Green Workshops
Lighter sessions offering an introduction into various ways to improve wellbeing. They are accessible to anyone, encouraging self-expression and self-care. Sessions involve techniques, activities, and ways to connect with our senses, to develop a wellbeing toolkit.
Classroom safety
We are pleased to welcome learners onto selected workshops in a phased return to the classroom.

Anxiety Series
Our anxiety series has been created to explore different aspect of anxiety, identifying levels of anxiety, our response to it, the tools we use and how we gain a sense of empowerment and calm. We will identify different strategies to try out in each session which will help develop our internal resources to better manage our anxiety.

Anxiety and Our Bodies
In this workshop we focus on what happens in the body, explore our autonomic nervous system and how to activate our parasympathetic system. We will identify different strategies to try out in the session to help develop our internal resources, and better manage our anxiety creating a sense of calm.

Assertive Communication - Saying No
Many people find communicating their needs and points of view difficult, fearing they may come across as either too passive or aggressive. Communicating clearly can help reduce stress levels, creates healthy boundaries and promotes self- confidence. In this session we explore ways we can be more assertive, with a focus on saying "No".

B-ACE (Body Care, Achieve, Connect, Enjoy)
Body Care, Achieve, Connect, Enjoy (better known as B-ACE) is a recovery-focused tool which can help us create a sense of balance in our lives. Through using this tool we can acknowledge what we do well and identify areas for improvement.

Be Present Series
Our ‘Be Present’ series is an eight session series. These sessions explore the different ways we can achieve a focused awareness. The sessions incorporate elements of mindfulness and meditation practice that bring us back to the present moment, helping to focus our attention, improve our self-awareness and keep us living in the now.

Boost Your Mood Series
Our Boost your Mood sessions focus on the practical things we can do to support our physical and emotional wellbeing at this time. We explore food, sleep and activities to keep our minds occupied, as well as some simple grounding techniques to help reduce anxious feelings.

Depression Series - Finding Creativity
Motivation, Creativity and Hope are often difficult to find when we are feeling depressed. Our Depression Series explore each of these areas. In each area, we identify strategies, tools and techniques to help move us to a better feeling place and unlock our potential.
In this Finding Creativity session we explore why creativity is important, especially when managing depression, and reflect on our own creative pursuits. We introduce and try out a simple illustration activity which can help you visualise goals or memories in a fun, humorous way.

Mindful Patterned Squares (Art Session)
This session is about relaxing and creating simple patterns using black lines and paper. Straightforward step-by-step instructions and visuals will guide you towards engaging mindfully with the meditative act of putting pen to paper.

Mindful Portraits (Art Session)
These sessions are all about relaxing, letting go and creating simple drawings using a continuous line. Working from images provided on screen, it is a chance to enjoy the simple pleasure of making marks on paper and create some expressive and often entertaining portraits. No previous experience or drawing skills required.

Wellbeing Cafe
If you would like to know more about our wellbeing sessions why not join us for one of our cafe sessions. Within these sessions we take an informal approach to aspects around Wellbeing and staying healthy both mentally and physically.

Writing for Wellbeing
An easy-going workshop for those wanting to boost their creative flow and increase their confidence with the pen. The aim of this workshop is to discover how writing can help our wellbeing, help overcome any fears and barriers we may have to writing, take our imagination for a walk and connect with each other through the power of words and stories.

Writing Series

During a time when we may feel stuck or isolated, writing provides a platform to connect with others and discover a form of freedom through expression. Within this series, we explore and connect with elements of our being: and round off the series with a session dedicated to writing stories on a chosen theme.
