Face-to-face support sessions now open to North Somerset residents

The return of face-to-face mental health support is welcome news for people in North Somerset who want help with their mental health and wellbeing.

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, our North Somerset Wellbeing service, like many healthcare services, switched to offer online support to help prevent the spread of the virus.

With promising news of vaccines and with restrictions now easing, the Safe Haven Centre in Weston-super-Mare has reopened its doors and is providing in person support, while the service’s online groups and activities are also continuing.

Vicky and Kerry, who both use the service regularly, recently sat down with Weston Live to talk about their experiences with North Somerset Wellbeing and their journey of recovery. You can read the piece here.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to both Vicky and Kerry for having the courage to share their story as a way of giving hope to others.
