Second Step is a finalist in Third Sector Care Awards

Second Step’s Community Rehabilitation Service has been shortlisted as a finalist in the 3rd Sector Care Awards in the category of Collaboration (Integration).

The awards were launched in 2014 by Care Management Matter (CMM) to celebrate and showcase innovation and care-excellence in the not-for-profit care and support sector.

About The Collaboration (Integration) Award:

‘For health, care and support to be “integrated”, it must be person-centred, co-ordinated, and tailored to the needs and preferences of the individual, their carer and family.’ (TLAP – May 2014).

This award recognises ways of working collaboratively, achieving outcomes for people using services that otherwise would not have been achieved.

We are pleased to have been shortlisted and are looking forward to continuing the process and seeing what happens next.
