Activities Facilitators

Our Activity Facilitators support clients by facilitating groups, or helping people to engage with groups increase self confidence, social inclusion, and help clients to find positive ways of spending time to improve wellbeing.

We want you to bring your own interests and skills to engage clients in activities such as gardening, creativity, cookery, walking, relaxation, music, social activities, sport, photography.

“I think one of the best bits about volunteering is also meeting lots of different people and knowing that the art group might have a positive impact. I find it really rewarding when Service Users come to me with ideas they might have for a project, and being able to make it happen. I always learn a lot from being there.

Cooking Group Volunteers

We have several opportunities for cooking group volunteers, both at our accommodation in Brentry and working to support service users at a cooking group in a venue in Bristol city centre. There are opportunities available on Wednesday, at 10.30am-1.00pm, Thursdays at 4.30pm-6.30pm, and Friday afternoons. Each group is shaped by the services users suggestions, and roles can include, helping prepare, cook, eat and tidy up for a meal, or working towards planning, shopping and cooking on a budget.

Walking Group

Our walking group is based at our accommodation in Brentry on a Wednesday at 12:30. The role involves, with another volunteer, planning and leading walks in the local area.
