Exercise is an essential building block of our wellbeing.  Alongside Bristol Active Life Project (BALP) Second Step offer weekly morning and afternoon walking groups.

Bristol Mental Health Community Rehabilitation Service Logo

Growing and tending vegetables can be a great way to boost our wellbeing and get some fresh air.  Working with Bristol Mental Health's Community Rehabilitation Service, the Recovery College has access to an allotment plot and a raised bed at The Golden Hill Community Garden.

The Golden Hill Community Garden is based on the Horfield and District Allotment Association site in Bishopston, Bristol, BS7 8NE. Just through the gates at the end of Monk Rd, behind Bishop Road School and Horfield Prison.

Recovery Café

Sometimes just relaxing with like-minded people can help your wellbeing.  Providing support before and after courses and workshops the Recovery College Team run regular café sessions in and around Bristol. The Recovery Café is a great place to meet the team and try taster exercises linked to the courses over a free hot drink and piece of cake.
